Hi OP. This is a legitimate question, not a judgement of any kind. Why would you assume you wouldn’t become attached to one or both people in the couple? You mention “exploring a friendship” and to me that doesn’t read as someone looking for a one night thing? I may just be missing context, though. To me, a friendship can be surface level or it can be deeper.

There are also couples where the woman really does want experience with women, but the only way the man will let her is if he's included as well.

Neither of those is a dynamic I feel like being involved in.

There are legit couples out there, but those two situations seem awfully common.
I've said it before and i'll say it again...I do not share. I do it for me, not for him and he's not included. He's happy with this. He has the freedom to choose whether he would like to find a girlfriend too, i can't stop him, it will be unfair but he does not want to. He says he's happy. I will never be able to watch my husband and my girlfriend be together, it will hurt me. This might sound selfish but it is what it is and as ling us we are all happy, then there's no harm. I have no qualms with people who do have this dynamic though, live and let live. I do however have a big issue with women who only act bisexual to satisfy men's sexual desires or fantasies. So yeah, i wholeheartedly agree with your reply here!

I have no experience but if everyone is cool with it and ground rules are laid beforehand, then i see no problem with it. Could be fun with the right people involved.

Yeah for sure - I have seen a lot of these and it's desperately sad. I've yet to find a couple searching that didn't fall into one of these two categories.

I've known all the couples I've been with beforehand, or at least I knew one partner.

@ESilver1 did that make things awkward or easier? No judgement...just curious.

My partner now had a thing with a couple and I have to say I had never thought about it before we discussed it. Recently we watched a programme and it got discussions going with us about this and if either of us wanted to. I still arent sure where I stand with it but I wouldnt be closed off to the idea

Easier in my case.

My first time with a woman was with her and her husband. I had no idea they were into stuff like that beforehand. Had a few drinks and then one thing led to another. We got together a few times and then his wife started falling for me. It was a turn on but it caused a lot of drama. So be careful and have fun. I couldn’t watch my bf with another woman and he doesn’t want to share me so I’m kind of stuck. But I do fantasize and desire being with a woman more than ever
