Is Discord the name of the chat box function?

Discord is a separate chat service. We've had an unofficial chat room there for a few years (and slack before that) since the one on the old forum wasn't very usable. We can't fully integrate it into the forum, but it's a popular service that a lot of people are already using anyways, and has both a mobile app and web access.

Ahh right. I haven’t used chat is many years. I used to frequent a thematic one based on a ship. I used to love that.
