PMDD

Post by Eagles »

Does anyone have any tips for managing PMDD without the use of contraception?

Are there any natural ways that have worked, or has anyone had any success with reducing the symptoms?

My partner is at her whits end with it.

You may have already seen these tips:

Medications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and serotonin modulators
Lifestyle changes, including regular exercise, stress management, and healthy diet
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other forms of psychotherapy

Sorry if this is a personal question but how old is she? My premenstrual symptoms whent crazy and it took me ages to realise it was perimenopause. HRT and having a mirena (rather than progesterone tablets) and testosterone have all helped.
So confused.
