Presumably the old owner decided to stop paying for it. I'm not sure we ever got a definitive answer, but that's how it appeared.
This site isn't "back" - this is shybi.net, not shybi.com. A group of us from the old site who were still in touch decided to start a new site.

Well I am grateful that some form of Shys is back! When I tried to search it a couple of years ago, it made me feel lonely.
