I lost all my work on the old Shys site

Yes, I know...I should have saved them offline, but I was passionate and wrote it on there. Actually, most of the work I put on there had a copy on my computer. Oh well. Next time, I'll type it on my computer,then copy and past it.

Here's one that I don't mind typing on here, so here it goes:

A Fresh Start

Looking for a way to push through the murky waters.
I see the light speckles through the surface.
Am I close?
No, too far.

I move here and there,
Back and forth,
Sinking lower and lower as
The pressure becomes heavier and heavier on my chest

I feel I could burst...

Gently, I push off from the ocean floor soaring through green and blue
The sea of visible and invisible creatures suddenly separating
To let me through.
Crashing through

Air forces its way into my lungs
Bringing me life that was once taken from me when
My ship sank.
To the depths below

I survive to tell the tale.
There is an island not far from where I immersed.
I crawl to shore,
And thank my lucky stars that I'm alive...
