Taylor Swift songs!

Post by Orla »

I’ll use the format of a top ten list, but please feel free to share yours in whichever way you like.

1) Right Where You Left Me (bonus track, Evermore)

2) Willow (Evermore)

3) Cowboy Like Me (Evermore)

4) All Too Well/10 minute version (Red-Taylor’s Version)

5) My Tears Ricochet (Folklore)

6) Seven (Folklore)

7) Treacherous (Red-Taylor’s Version)

8) Marjorie (Evermore)

9) You’re On Your Own, Kid (Midnights)

10) Dear Reader (Midnights)

Two honorable mentions because I can’t leave them out, but I am forcing myself to stop after them 😄

Hoax (Folklore)

Cornelia Street (Lover)

Fun fact-I have friendship bracelets with the title or lyrics from some of these songs.

Great song and I’m a massive Calvin Harris fan and have seen him live. Big back story to this and their relationship.

I prefer released version with Rihanna as this was what was played live. But no doubt it was co-written by swift and Harris

Sorry not sorry 😉 🫶 my TS brain rot is intense lately! Since I’m subjecting everyone to it, I’m so glad to know you’re at least enjoying my recs!

Treacherous is so beautiful! That’s the power of TS! I tend to like her melancholy stuff. Can’t wait for you to hear the literal opus that is All Too Well (make sure it’s the 10 minute version 😀).

But here’s something to totally switch gears. I’ll preface this by saying that I know her rapping is a little silly, but this song slaps so hard I don’t care. I love watching her preform this one live when the Eras Tour streams (she’s currently touring the US). Tickets were impossible for me to get (she hits my city early next month 😭) so when I say I bless the streamer I’m being completely serious.

I know you’re in a different time zone but to tune in, here’s the link I use: https://watch.feelsomething.icu/embed/video/

An Australian tour was announced with several dates in Melbourne and Sydney. I looked into going but it was too expensive and no tickets were available. There are no gigs in New Zealand where I am located. I have bought tickets to Pink instead. It’s only about $100 and it’s just down the road, basically. Well it’s about a 20-minute drive. Rather than a $800 ticket and a flight to Australia!
