@katinthewoods thank you for posting on this topic!

I miss practicing BDSM. Life has gotten so busy that I hardly have any time (for anything let alone BDSM) outside of my day to day responsibilities.

I started out the same, @Orla and @katinthewoods - as a sub because I was looking for a way to let go of control (ie high stress job …..and my type A personality 😉).

Now, I am definitely a switch that leans toward being dominant. For me, that dynamic depends on the chemistry with the individual.

BDSM is something we played with some in my former relationships, but not to the lifestyle extent.

I find it to be a bit hard to be sure of my true feelings about the subject, having been with one person, with whom I had a complicated relationship, for so long.

With men, I don't feel drawn towards a dominant role in the slightest. Maybe that would change with the right man, I don't know.

With women, I feel much more switchy, and am not sure I'd be happy in a role that was strictly one or the other.

I feel comfortable with some basic stuff with pretty much anyone I'd otherwise be willing to be sexually involved with. More intense stuff requires a higher level of love and trust. There's an awful lot I feel like I could be open to with the right person.
