I whispered your name into the silence where I used to hear you there
My fingers found the places that your eyes used to share
And I imagined your voice begging me to come
Where i once was alive now i feel alone and numb
There will be no more moments where I felt like I was free
No more "I love you's", no more kisses, no more us, just you and me,
You were on my mind this morning....my hands touched all the places your eyes have already been and eventhough you're not close I still wish you could've seen how beautiful we were in the picture in my dream....

I can't wait to kiss you, on your lips, in the rain, everywhere
And I can't wait to show you just how much I care
I can't wait to hold your hand and lace your fingers with mine
Kiss your neck, brush your shoulder and run my fingertips down your spine
I can't wait to feel your tongue in my mouth when our lips finally meet
And I can't wait to taste you, God I bet you taste so sweet
I can't wait to feel your fingers in my hair as I fall asleep with my head in your lap
Or your body pressed tightly against mine on a Sunday afternoon nap
I can't wait to bring you coffee in bed in the morning when you rise
And to feel that amazing feeling when you look into my eyes
I can't wait to know what it's like to have your legs wrapped around my waist
Your arms around my neck while we're making out in haste
I can't wait for one day and one day might not be so soon
But I can wait forever if forever means a day with you.

Everytime you smile at me I feel the sky burst open in my chest
I know that this sounds lame but you simply are the best
And when you tell me that you love me I feel like I'm high
I always want to be with you and never say goodbye.

Everytime our eyes meet I feel like my dream came true
My dream of falling in love, my dream of meeting you
And when you say that you miss me, I just want to hold you tight
I want to fall asleep next to you and be with you all night.

I wish I can make you happy again, I wish that you could see
How much I love your heart and how I wish you could be with me
But wishes are just dreams that will never really come true
Dreams of no more loneliness, dreams of me and you.

I wish we could go back to the start again where every day I made you smile
Knowing I made an impact on your life even if only for a while
But wishes are like hopes that float into thin air
Hopes and aspirations like an unanswered prayer.

I wish that you understand how much I try every single day
To not lose you in my life and to make you want to stay
But wishes are like candles burning in the rain
Dreams and wishes of a love that will always remain.

I used to dance to the sound of your voice but now it's just an echo screaming at me in the night
I don't know where I went wrong for you to make the choice of rather leaving than trying to fight
And I would give anything to go back to the start and do it all over again
Maybe then I could erase what pushed us apart and what changed between now and then
I can only hope you know that I still love you more than you can ever imagine right now
And that I think of you way too much than what our current situation does allow
But I can not lie to myself any longer and pretend that I don't need you here
And that losing you completely in my life is my biggest fear
I will stay by your side and be your friend as per your request
Hiding my feelings for you and honoring your wish to start fresh
But know that your beautiful eyes still makes my heart flutter and my soul go weak
And that the sound of your voice still makes me dance, but of these things I won't speak.

The way they sparkle when you look at me like stars in the night skies
I've always had a way with words, at least that's what you'll say
But I know who I am with you and that's ok

And you can have it, I really don't mind.

Everything inside of me adores everything inside of you
Don't go thinking just because you decided different that it will change how I feel
There will always be a place for you beside me and this promise is for real
I'm making it akward now, at least that's what you'll say
But I know how I feel about you and that's ok
When you take your life back from someone you always leave a piece behind
